Westone TV Ears

With the TV EARS infrared wireless headset system, users can have movie-theater quality sound from their television without disturbing others who are sleeping, reading or watching the same television program. The user has individual control of volume, tone and balance adjustments on the headset without affecting volume for other viewers. The sleek transmitter base doubles as a quick recharger for up to two headsets. TV Ears are compatible with all televisions, stereos, computers and video games.

The original TV Ears system was designed to help hearing aid wearer’s with moderate to severe hearing loss. It features Voice Enhancement Technology which clarifies television dialog, Automatic Commercial Control which caps loud commercials, adjustable volume, tone, and balance. It has a rechargeable battery system, eartips for maximum comfort and clarity, and a 1 year warranty. TV Ears Original is also compatible with many ADA compliant theatres.

Another TV Ears product was especially configured for home theatre systems. The transmitter and headset charger are separated. The transmitter can be discreetly attached to a wall mounted flat screen TV or built in TV, while the headset charging cradle can be placed near the seating area. Compatible with plasma televisions, the TV Ears Home Theatre system is powerful enough to cover virtually any large home theatre room. It can be used as a wired headset to connect to an iPod, computer, or other electronic device and has an expansion slot that accepts optional accessories such as the "telephone cord." It is also compatible with many ADA compliant public facilities such as theatres, cinemas and music halls.
