Westone 3 True-fit Earphones

The Westone 3 is the first true universal fit three-way earphone designed for personal listening. Its balanced framework drivers and three-way crossover network add unbelievable realism to the wearer’s listening experiences. The Westone 3’s ergonomic fit provides unparalleled comfort, outstanding sound isolation, and accurate reproduction that will satisfy the most challenging listener. The Westone 3 comes complete with inline volume control, ¼” adapter, travel case, and ten different types of eartips to customize the fit to the anatomy of the wearer’s ears.

The Westone 3’s specification include sensitivity of 107 dB SPL, frequency response of 20 Hz -18 kHz, and impedance of 30 ohms. The driver is balanced armature. It also features a soft padded travel case, ten different eartips, and wax loop for cleaning. It comes in a standard color of black.

Currently, Westone is redesigning the Westone 3. The prototypes have not met their standards of excellence and performance. Given the lead times for the redesign and production tooling, the Westone 3 is not expected to be released until late 2008 at the earliest.
