Some of the other key features of Starkey’s Destiny 1600 hearing aid includes the ability to virtually eliminate feedback, prevents whistling, and identifies unique sound environments and adjusts to them accordingly, which improves speech intelligibility. The Destiny 1600 hearing aid has a real-ear measurement which is built into the hearing aid itself. It has indicators that can be set to use speech, instead of tones, in multiple languages. It also automatically reminds wearers when they need to return for a follow-up visit and comes in a variety of colors based on skin and hair tones, as well as lifestyles.
