Starkey ELI DirX

ELI DirX is a tiny Bluetooth transceiver designed to allow hearing aid wearers to use a cell phone. It provides a strong, clear signal without the interference which usually occurs with digital cell phones used with hearing aids. ELI transmits the voice from the mobile phone or other Bluetooth devices through the hearing aid and into the ear. Feedback elimination, a 30-foot range, and rechargeable battery make ELI the crucial upgrade for hearing aid wearers.

ELI DirX makes hearing aids instantly compatible with mobile phones and other wireless devices. ELI's signal automatically overrides a hearing instrument's microphone signal, which improves sound and clarity. When a call ends, ELI automatically returns to the device’s normal microphone mode. Wearers can also listen to television, computer or music wirelessly.

ELI was designed to eliminate the problems associated with using hearing aids and mobile phones. ELI offers hearing aid wearers the luxury of hands-free communication with Bluetooth-compatible phones and other electronics. ELI's digital signal provides relief from feedback and other electromagnetic issues associated with telephone use by hearing aid wearers.
