Oticon Amigo

The Oticon Amigo is a family of products for younger hearing aid wearer’s. FM devices are made to carry the speaker’s voice directly to the child’s ears. However, if the unit does not deliver the signal, is tuned to the wrong channel or breaks down, it becomes ineffective. The Oticon Amigo T20/T21 has a built-in light on the receiver which shows the entire Amigo system is working correctly. No matter where the child is sitting, they will be able to hear clearly.

The T10 is convenient and versatile. It is just as reliable as the T20/T21. This lightweight device can be held in the hand, worn around the neck, placed on a tabletop or plugged into a TV. The child can take part in the action, whether it’s in the classroom, at home or during social activities.

Amigo uses Voice Priority technology to make speech come through clearly no matter how much distracting noise is around. It cleans up the speech signal before transmitting it, to protect the child from noise. It adapts to a teacher’s voice to keep it audible and comfortable. Whenever the teacher is silent, Amigo goes quiet to avoid picking up irrelevant sounds.
