Kristin Vance, AuD, F-AAA

Kristin Vance, AuD, F-AAA is a clinical Audiologist specializing in a broad range of diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiologic services. Prior to joining Union Square Hearing in December of 2008, Dr. Vance had previously worked at the University of California (San Francisco) Medical Center and the California Ear Institute. She relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area from Ohio to begin her clinical fellowship in 2004.

Dr. Vance has a strong background in evaluating a wide variety of audio-vestibular impairments in both pediatric and adult populations. She is skilled in providing hearing impaired patients with the most appropriate rehabilitative options, including digital hearing aid and Baha fittings. Dr. Vance has a special interest in comprehensive balance assessment as well as the diagnosis of hearing impairment in newborns through Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) evaluations.

Dr. Vance was awarded her B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University and M.A. in Audiology from The Ohio State University. Her Doctorate of Audiology was conferred by Salus University. She is a California licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser and is currently a member of the American Academy of Audiology as well as the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
