InSound Lyric

Lyric is the only extended wear hearing aid that is completely invisible. It can be worn during a variety of daily activities, such as exercising, showering, talking on the phone, and sleeping.

During a routine office visit, Lyric is placed in the wearer’s ear canal by an ENT physician working along side an audiologist. There is no surgery or anesthesia. It can be worn continuously for 24 hours a day, seven days a week, up to three months at a time, depending on the individual wearer. At the time of the fitting, Lyric will be programmed to the wearer’s specific hearing needs. The settings and volume are adjustable, as needed, along with the ability to be turned on and off.

Lyric works with the ear’s anatomy to provide high quality sound in quiet and loud environments. It uses the outer ear to bring sound into the ear canal without the need for multiple settings or programs. Lyric is sold on a subscription basis. The wearer will be required to purchase one year’s worth of Lyric devices at a time. Since the wearer will be receiving new hearing aids at each office visit, they will always have the most up-to-date Lyric hearing technology available.
